This Privacy Policy describes how Expertise Engineering, LLC ("Expertise Engineering," "we," "us") handles information collected through our website at exp-eng.com and expertiseengineering.com (the "Site"), and through internal applications we operate.
1. Who We Are
Expertise Engineering, LLC is a contract engineering firm located at 11696 Sorrento Valley Rd, Suite 101, San Diego, CA 92121. You can reach us at info@exp-eng.com or (858) 509-3001.
2. Information We Collect
Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company, phone number, funding stage, and message. Form submissions are processed by two service providers acting on our behalf: Netlify, our website hosting provider, and FormSubmit (privacy policy), which relays the submission to our email. Both receive the information you enter solely to deliver it to us.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and operational purposes.
Fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, which may log your IP address in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, discuss your project, and conduct our business with you. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and Analytics
The Site does not set tracking cookies and does not use third-party analytics or advertising services.
5. Data Retention and Your Rights
We retain contact inquiries for as long as needed for legitimate business purposes. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing info@exp-eng.com. California residents may exercise their rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) through the same contact.
6. Internal Applications (Bennett)
Expertise Engineering operates internal-only software integrations, including "Bennett," used solely to manage Expertise Engineering's own business records, including its own QuickBooks Online company file operated by Intuit Inc. under the terms of Intuit's developer agreements. These internal applications access only data belonging to Expertise Engineering. They do not access, collect, store, or transmit personal information from any external user, customer, vendor, or partner, and are not distributed to or used by third parties.
